Job description

Position Overview

Dynamic Psychological Therapy is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Full-Time Remote Mental Health Counselors. This position allows you to provide essential mental health support from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a flexible schedule. Our counselors earn competitive salaries ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, depending on experience and hours worked.

About the Organization

At Dynamic Psychological Therapy, we are committed to offering high-quality mental health services through a community-focused approach. Based in Irvine, California, our organization is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes in the local community and beyond. We provide our counselors with access to comprehensive administrative support and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that you can focus on providing exceptional care to your clients.

Work Environment

This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while working from home. You'll use a user-friendly therapy platform designed as your online counseling office, equipped with tools for live video sessions, secure messaging, and client management. Our infrastructure minimizes administrative burdens, allowing you to dedicate more time to what you do best โ€” counseling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Counseling: Conduct individual counseling sessions using secure video chat. Your focus will be on assisting clients in improving their mental health and achieving personal goals through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for your clients, helping them articulate their needs and aspirations as they navigate their mental health journeys.
  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with clients to define clear and attainable goals that align with their values and desired outcomes.
  • Treatment Planning: Assess clientsโ€™ mental health needs and create customized treatment plans that employ solution-focused methodologies based on your clinical expertise.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with stable adults who have been carefully screened and are seeking support for low-acuity mental health concerns. Our clients are matched to you based on your specialties and demographic preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to care. Notably, our practice does not serve individuals with severe mental health issues, which enables you to maintain a focus on manageable cases.

Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study is required. Advanced qualifications such as a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology, are preferred.
  • Licensing: Candidates must hold a full, unrestricted license as a Mental Health Counselor issued by the state, such as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. Please ensure your license status and state are clearly noted in your application.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are essential for connecting with clients effectively. Proficiency in using technology and computer literacy will facilitate seamless interaction with our digital tools.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in a counseling role, especially in a remote or telehealth setting, will be an advantage. Familiarity with solution-focused therapy and experience managing a caseload of clients are also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: Enjoy a robust salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000, commensurate with your experience and full-time hours worked.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Have the autonomy to build a schedule that works for you while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Minimal Administrative Burden: With administrative tasks, marketing, and billing handled by our team, you can devote your energy to client care.
  • Onboarding Support: Our onboarding specialists can help you get set up and see clients within just 1 to 3 days!
  • Healthcare Stipend: A monthly healthcare stipend will be available for full-time counselors.
  • Weekly Payments: Receive direct deposit payments every week, providing financial stability.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Dynamic Psychological Therapy, we believe in fostering professional development. As a full-time counselor, you will have access to training and resources aimed at enhancing your skills and expanding your clinical expertise. Opportunities for advancement within our organization are available as we grow.

Why Join Our Team

Join a dedicated team of mental health professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of their clients. Youโ€™ll not only receive competitive compensation and solid support but also be part of a community that prioritizes the well-being of both our clients and our counselors.
