As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with ConcertoCare, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of youth and young adults in a school setting. This full-time, remote role allows you to contribute your expertise as an independent clinician, working alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving student outcomes. Work Environment

This role is designed to be performed remotely, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining a strong connection with students and educational personnel. Engaging with schools across Bremerton and surrounding areas, you will communicate virtually with teachers, counselors, and parents, ensuring that support services are effectively aligned and that each student receives the individualized care they deserve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized mental health counseling to teenagers and young adults, focusing on personally tailored strategies that address their specific emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to identify appropriate treatment plans and interventions for each client.
  • Utilize a variety of behavioral therapy techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in understanding and managing their mental health issues.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, educational staff, healthcare providers, and family members to develop an integrated care approach that fosters comprehensive student support.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, psychological theories, and therapeutic techniques in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on youth and young adults encountering various mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral issues. In this role, you will not only address immediate mental health needs but also aid in fostering resilience and coping strategies that lead to long-term improvement in overall well-being and academic performance.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active and unrestricted License as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in mental health counseling.
  • In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations, ethical practices, and confidentiality standards in clinical settings.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for effectively engaging with clients, families, and colleagues alike.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in clinical social work, preferably with youth and young adults experiencing mental health disorders.
