Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
Process journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
Review and analyze financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable operations when needed.
Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
Assist with payroll accounting and fixed asset management.
Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting.
Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
QualificationsRequiredStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
PreferredCPA or CPA candidate (preferred but not required).
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage.
Experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics or corporate accounting is a plus.
Knowledge of payroll and sales tax reporting.
