Primary Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts.

  • Process journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.

  • Review and analyze financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable operations when needed.

  • Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Assist with payroll accounting and fixed asset management.

  • Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting.

  • Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.


QualificationsRequired
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Preferred
  • CPA or CPA candidate (preferred but not required).

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage.

  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, logistics or corporate accounting is a plus.

  • Knowledge of payroll and sales tax reporting.
