About the Role:

This job requires you to work daily on-site at the work location (Byrd Way, Warner Robins). The Deputy Program Manager plays a critical leadership role in supporting the successful execution and management of complex service contracts. This position is responsible for assisting the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of program delivery, ensuring that objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget. The Deputy Program Manager will manage a wide range of diverse technical, logistical, and procurements support personnel to provide our customer with sustainment support - primarily for non-standard and difficult to support items. This role will monitor all established processes, information systems, and applicable databases to ensure program standards and deliveries are maintained - accurately and on time. This role requires a strategic thinker who can anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, the Deputy Program Manager SKA ensures that the program aligns with organizational goals and delivers exceptional value.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. Preference for Supply Chain Management or other logistics related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience in program or project management within the service industry.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory, management, or leadership role is required.
  • Proven experience managing complex contracts and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and tools.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of USAF logistics processes and systems along with commercial purchase practices (SOR and SOS)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with federal or state contracting regulations and compliance requirements.
