Job Description: Full-Time Production Associate
Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $15.00 per hour
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Summary:
The Full-Time Production Associate is a vital member of the operations team at Lord Baltimore Uniform's industrial laundry facility in Baltimore. This role is responsible for executing daily production tasks including sorting, inspecting, folding, and bundling garments and linens. Associates operate commercial washers and dryers, assist in the wash aisle, and ensure the quality and cleanliness of all items processed. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Production Associates play a key role in maintaining workflow efficiency and supporting the company's high standards of service and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, inspect, and fold uniforms, garments, and linens according to company standards
  • Perform towel folding and bundling tasks with consistency and care
  • Assist in the wash aisle by loading/unloading washers and dryers and handling soiled items
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
  • Push/pull carts weighing 50 to 400 lbs. using a dolly throughout the facility
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining production flow
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and wash area
  • Identify and report damaged or missing items during quality control checks
  • Assist with labeling, inventory tracking, and product staging
  • Support team members to meet daily production goals
  • Fill in for other production roles as needed
  • Comply with all safety procedures and company policies

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Occasional overtime may be required during peak production periods

Physical Requirements:
  • Push/pull carts weighing 50 to 400 lbs. using a dolly
  • Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly
  • Stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift
  • Work in warm, humid, and noisy environments typical of industrial laundry operations

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude

Preferred:
  • Previous experience in a production, warehouse, or laundry setting
  • Familiarity with textile handling or commercial laundry equipment
