Description
ABOUT LIVIC CIVIL
Imagine coming to work each day, excited to tackle challenges alongside a team that's just as driven and passionate as you are. We're LIVIC Civil-a tight-knit firm with a mission to guide our clients to success, whether through civil engineering, land development, traffic and transportation engineering, GIS, survey, or landscape design. With several of our biggest projects yet on the horizon, we're looking for someone ready to grow with us and help make a lasting impact.
This role isn't for everyone. If you:
  • Settle for "good enough,"
  • Avoid taking on new challenges,
  • Struggle with constructive feedback, or
  • Prefer working solo instead of on a team,

then this might not be the right fit. But if you're a fast learner, adaptable, and eager to research, problem-solve, and contribute to something bigger, you may be exactly who we're looking for.
WHO WE ARE
LIVIC Civil is Not Your Ordinary Civil Engineering Firm. Since our founding in 2017, we've partnered with clients who share our values of integrity, hard work, and responsiveness, delivering projects that go beyond expectations. As a small, agile firm, we're committed to evolving quickly, achieving exceptional results that set us apart.
JOB SUMMARY
LIVIC Civil is expanding, and we're looking for a Roadway Project Engineer to play a key role in our growing transportation department! This full-time position supports project delivery through technical leadership, coordination, and oversight of design tasks and deliverables. This role bridges design production and project execution by guiding engineering decisions, supporting QA/QC, coordinating discipline inputs, and assisting PMs with scope, schedule, and deliverable readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical task execution and coordinate deliverables across a project team.
  • Provide QA/QC oversight and support resolution of design review comments.
  • Coordinate plan development and engineering support for PS&E submissions.
  • Support PMs with technical input for schedules, staffing, and deliverable tracking.
  • Participate in client/agency coordination as needed.

PATHWAYS FOR GROWTH
At LIVIC, we value ambition and the unique strengths each team member brings. This role can evolve into various exciting paths over time based on your interests, talents, and drive. Possible career growth paths include:
  • Project Management Roles - Leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Development Coordinator Roles - Focusing on business growth and client partnerships.

This position is ideal for someone who sees themselves growing into a future leader, whether in project management, operations, marketing, or client development.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related)
    • 6+ years of progressive roadway/transportation design experience
    • PE license (Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within 6 months)
    • Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or ORD; strong knowledge of DOT deliverables.
    • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Preferred:
    • PennDOT project delivery experience
    • Experience mentoring staff/leading task teams
    • Travel to other offices as needed

LOCATIONS
• Bloomsburg, PA
• Northumberland, PA
• Harrisburg, PA
• Montoursville, PA
WHY LIVIC?
At LIVIC, we don't just offer jobs-we offer opportunities for growth and meaningful impact. With flexible schedules, a supportive work environment, and unique perks like high-quality headphones and a personalized workspace, you'll join a team committed to guiding communities toward success. If you're ready for a career journey with limitless potential, and a chance to lead through curiosity and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
