Job description

Job Type
Full-time
Description
Senior Product Manager, PMS (Pharmacy Management System)
About Us
At Gifthealth, we're revolutionizing the way people experience healthcare by simplifying the process of managing prescriptions and health services. Our mission is to provide a seamless, personalized, and efficient healthcare experience for all our customers. We're a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric company dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, PMS (Pharmacy Management System) to own Gifthealth's pharmacy management system as a product, from roadmap through execution. This position plays a key role in supporting the Digital Pharmacy department and reports to the Sr. Product Manager, Digital Pharmacy ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards. Gifthealth is building its own pharmacy management system, a multi-tenant platform that replaces our legacy stack and lets any program dispense at scale across locations. Today, dispensing runs on a legacy system that doesn't scale to a multi-program, multi-location future, and this role is accountable for the roadmap, the migration of new and existing programs onto the platform, and the retirement of the legacy system on plan, without disrupting patients or dispensing.
Key Responsibilities
  • The PMS product roadmap. Define and sequence what we build, from core dispensing to billing and claims, multi-tenant and multi-location from the start.
  • Program migration onto the platform. Own the plan to move new and existing programs onto the PMS, including data migration and reconciliation, without disrupting patients or dispensing.
  • Legacy retirement. Retire the legacy pharmacy system on plan, with a clear interim dispensing story and no gaps in billing or claims.
  • Cross-functional execution. Partner with engineering, pharmacy operations, and program teams to ship, and hold quality and pace across a regulated, high-stakes surface.
  • Specs and decisions. Write clear, engineering-ready specs and make the tradeoff calls that keep a complex build moving.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Licensure/Certification: Not applicable
  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping complex, technical, back-end, or platform products.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Comfortable owning a system where correctness matters: dispensing, billing, claims, or a comparable transactional platform.
    • Strong on execution: sequences a hard build, holds dates, and makes tradeoff calls without waiting to be told.
    • Experience with migrations, data reconciliation, or legacy system replacement.
    • Clear written communication and the judgment to keep a regulated build safe and on plan.
    • Preferred: experience in pharmacy, healthtech, or another regulated environment, and familiarity with pharmacy management systems, dispensing, or billing and claims workflows.
    • Preferred: multi-tenant or platform product experience, and hands-on experience with AI tools and with Linear.

Work Environment
  • Location: Hybrid / Remote
  • Schedule: Full-time; standard business hours
  • May require flexibility for time-sensitive dispensing, billing, or claims escalations tied to migration and legacy retirement milestones.
  • Regular meetings with engineering, pharmacy operations, and program teams to ensure alignment.

Key Essential Functions
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with cross-functional teams including engineering, pharmacy operations, and leadership.
  • Must be able to manage multiple concurrent priorities and shifting deadlines in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally, if required, to collaborate with distributed teams.
