Summary/Objective:  Serve as the Technical Maintenance Supervisor for all shifts and all processes in connector manufacturing.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the general safety of all Automation/Hand Fill equipment.
  2. Coordinate schedules for technical group to ensure all manufacturing times have adequate Technician coverage.
  3. Responsible for management of staff including discipline, performance evaluations, etc.
  4. Responsible for timely procurement of necessary tools, supplies, and equipment required for the technician staff to perform their jobs effectively and efficiently.
  5. Coordinate projects on existing machinery to improve quality, throughput, and safety.
  6. Responsible for Preventative Maintenance program for all manufacturing process related equipment.
  7. Work with engineering, quality, and customer service departments to investigate issues related to automated manufacturing.
  8. Interface with engineering on tooling/machinery for new projects and products associated with automated manufacturing.
  9. Could potentially involve handling hazardous materials.

Required Experience:

  1. 5+ Years’ Experience in working as a Technician on Automated Machines in a Manufacturing environment.
  2. Engineering Degree
  3. Must have 20/40 correctable vision.
  4. Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs. from floor to waist and have full use of all digits.
  5. Capable of standing and/or sitting for more than 90 minutes straight and not suffering from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.

Education:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  2. Some Technical education or certification as a Machinist or Journeyman Toolmaker.
