MSRC is seeking a full-time Image Processing Engineer to join our missile guidance integration and test team.


Job Description:

  • Specify and procure an embedded processor; interface the embedded processor to an IR seeker.
  • Develop real-time, embedded image processing algorithms for an IR-guided seeker program.
  • Support missile guidance and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) development, integration, simulation, and testing.
  • Develop IR seeker models and compare simulation predictions versus HWIL test results.
  • Support real-time open-loop and closed-loop testing with the scene generation, projector, and seeker.
  • Develop test plans, test procedures, and test reports to document seeker performance.

Education:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • BS degree in a STEM field required. MS or PhD degree in a STEM field desired.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in embedded image processing desired.
  • Experience with ImageJ, RPH, and/or other image processing toolsets.
  • Intermediate to expert level programming skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain an active security clearance.
