Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mortgage Servicing & Payment Collections Specialist for a growing mortgage services organization. This position is responsible for managing borrower accounts, collecting and processing payments, resolving servicing inquiries, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the mortgage servicing process.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in mortgage servicing, loan administration, collections, or financial services and possess strong customer service and problem-solving skills. This individual will interact directly with borrowers and internal business partners to ensure a positive customer experience and accurate loan servicing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mortgage accounts and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Contact borrowers regarding account status, payment reminders, delinquent accounts, and servicing needs.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies and servicing issues.
  • Process and post payments accurately using mortgage servicing systems, including Willow Servicing and Encompass.
  • Assist borrowers with ACH enrollment, escrow questions, payoff requests, and payment options.
  • Maintain detailed borrower records and servicing documentation.
  • Work with borrowers to establish payment plans and resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state mortgage regulations as well as internal servicing policies.
  • Collaborate with accounting, post-closing, investor relations, and other operational teams to support servicing activities.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.


Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Understanding of escrow accounts, mortgage payment structures, principal and interest calculations, and servicing procedures preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing mortgage servicing platforms such as Willow Servicing and Encompass preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
