Restoration Technician

Full-Time | Monday-Friday Days | On-Call Emergency Rotation
Pay: $20-$25/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Restoration Technician to join our team. Under the direction of the Restoration Manager, this position responds to water, fire, mold, and other restoration projects while providing high-quality service to customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to restoration projects and emergency service calls
  • Perform water mitigation, drying, cleaning, and repair services
  • Complete restoration work while following company quality and safety standards
  • Operate and maintain restoration and cleaning equipment
  • Perform air duct cleaning, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and window cleaning as needed
  • Assess job sites, identify issues, and recommend solutions
  • Maintain communication with customers, supervisors, and management
  • Prioritize daily assignments and manage workload effectively
  • Complete all required job documentation and paperwork accurately
  • Participate in after-hours, nights, and weekend emergency service rotation
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
  • Comfortable working on ladders, in confined spaces, and at various job sites

Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Minimum 2 years restoration industry experience preferred
  • General construction knowledge is a plus
  • Certifications preferred:
    • Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
    • Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
    • Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift frequently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working in changing weather conditions
  • Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and restoration materials
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Must be available for extended hours when emergency situations require
