Metal Fabricator (Full‑Time)

Full Time | Manufacturing | Sign Industry

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to construct structures and sign cabinets from raw materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Construction of structures and sign cabinets out of aluminum, steel or other materials to create individual custom signage according to customer specifications, shop drawings and blueprints
  • Build various sign types, including channel letters, awnings, wall signs, pylon signs, etc
  • Use various equipment to cut, bend, turn, mill and drill to specified lengths and widths per work order.
  • Operate metal fabricating machines (shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, and punch and forming presses)
  • Weld, rivet or bolt components together (primarily aluminum)
  • Inspect parts for defects
  • Operates machinery and equipment, including routers, welders, saws, air drills and power tools
  • Interpret blueprint and sketches
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience painting metal or aluminum preferred
  • Ability to use or learn to use fabricating machines and hand tools
  • Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings
  • Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift up to 100 lbs.)
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Overtime as needed; occasional evenings/weekends
