Job description

Job title : Production Operator
Client : Aerospace manufacturing Industry
Duration : 06 months role
Location : Phoenix, AZ 85043
Shift : 1st Shift (Mon - Fri - 6:30am - 3:00pm)
Qualifications
1ST SHIFT POSITIONS:
The position will be responsible to support any production area such as:
  • Grit blast
  • Grinding
  • Belt sand
  • Chisel
  • Tack weld
  • Braze
  • Cleaning
  • Other duties as required
  • Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Lean skills to continually drive process improvements
  • Team-building skills
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass various tests, including annual exams
  • Meet performance standards within the first six months
  • Intermediate computer skills

Responsibilities
Production Operator Duties:
  • Always utilize proper PPE and safety equipment.
  • Ability to follow and understand written instructions.
  • Document travelers and log sheets for operations performed.
  • Maintain required production time standards.
  • Ability to understand and use precision measuring tools.
  • Effectively and efficiently produce parts according to certification and quality guidelines.
  • Cross-train other employees.
  • Maintain department housekeeping using 5-S principles.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required.
  • Ensure compliance with Company Quality requirements.
  • Adhere to and promote the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with peers, leadership, and customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
