Job description

Who We Are

Tank’s Recycling & Landfill is a locally owned and operated Tucson company providing sustainable solutions for construction, demolition, landscape, and inert material recycling. With multiple landfill and reclamation sites across Southern Arizona, we’re committed to responsible waste management, exceptional customer service, and supporting our community. Our team works hard to protect Arizona’s environment while providing dependable, efficient service to contractors, landscapers, and homeowners.

The Position

As a Bagging Operations & Production Associate, you’ll support steady, accurate output for our bagged products and block work. This role exists to keep quality consistent, pallets correct, and production moving safely.
Key responsibilities:
- Bag soil mixes and other products under the canopy to exact standards
- Support outdoor concrete block production as needed
- Stack, label, and organize pallets with accuracy and safe handling
- Use material-handling equipment (forklift, skid steer) when assigned
Required qualifications/skills:
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Willing to work hard and follow supervisor direction
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working under canopy and outdoors in changing weather
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
Pay is $17/hr, full-time, onsite in Tucson, M–F 6am–3pm. Apply now if you’re ready to do solid production work and be counted on.

Your Typical Shift

You’ll start early and check in with your lead on the day’s production targets. Most of the morning is spent under the canopy, keeping your pace steady while watching for mix consistency, bag weight, and clean presentation. As orders change, you may rotate outside to help with block production, then return to staging—building neat, count-accurate pallets and keeping walk paths clear. Throughout the shift, you’ll stay alert around moving equipment, communicate when something looks off, and finish by leaving your area organized for the next day.

Benefits Package

We offer Medical, Dental, 401(k), and Paid Time Off.
