Job description

Red Lion Municipal Authority is looking for a full time Maintenance Supervisor to manage a waste water and sewer system team. This role will include the supervision of operations and maintenance of the team, manage employees and evaluate performance, research and identify training needs and provide overall management support of the department.

Candidate should possess  10 years of related experience managing a team and the ability to operate a mini-excavator, backhoe and various construction equipment, CDL Class B or higher is desirable.  Industry experience in waste water or sewer management would be extremely beneficial.

Knowledge: Ability to plan, maintain and manage efficient collection and distribution operation. Excellent communications skills and ability to write technical documents. Ability to read and comprehend reports of engineering proposals, procurement proposals and contract documents, including plans and specifications. Sufficient knowledge to operate all water distribution, and wastewater collection systems to meet or exceed state and federal regulations. Working knowledge of computer programs to include CS Datum, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Special Requirements: Possession of a valid PA driver’s license. Possession of or acquisition within two (2) years, a PA DEP Water Distribution Certification, Class E, Distribution, and Possession of a PA DEP Wastewater Operators Certification E4 for Sewage Collection System Operator. Will require submission of a Criminal History Report and three year Driver’s History Report.
Salary commiserate with experience.
