SUMMARY

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the burn table to process plate materials.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Select correct machine settings for optimal burning, drilling, and processing operations.
  • Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications.
  • Select appropriate material type, stock size and dimensions as required.
  • Transfer data onto materials.
  • Keep a clean, organized and safe work area.
  • Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Skilled in interpreting CAD drawings, symbols, and notes.
  • Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16".
  • Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.
  • Possess attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule as well as overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers.
  • Experience with CNC machines is preferred.
  • Experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.
