Description: Ellington is seeking applications for a full-time library/media assistant for Windermere Elementary School, effective August 24, 2026
Job Summary: The successful candidate will oversee Windermere's media center under the direction of a certified library media specialist and the building principal. The candidate will perform a variety of clerical library duties regarding processing, circulating, maintaining, and distributing books and other library materials. Other duties include assisting students and staff in the selection, location, and use of library materials and equipment.
Qualifications: Must be able to work independently and have strong organizational skills. Candidate must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft applications and Google Docs. Previous related background/experience preferred. Will be required to submit to a state and national criminal history check as well as a DCF background check.
Working Conditions: This is a 10-month contracted, position 6 hours per day.
