Job Title: Labor Compliance Coordinator / Certified Payroll Specialist Location: Jurupa Valley, CA Pay: Up to $33.50/hour (DOE) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time | Onsite
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Labor Compliance Coordinator / Certified Payroll Specialist to join their growing team in Jurupa Valley. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with experience administering certified payroll and ensuring compliance on public works projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with California prevailing wage requirements.
  • Utilize LCPtracker to prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports.
  • Ensure compliance with California DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) regulations and labor compliance requirements.
  • Review payroll records for prevailing wage accuracy, proper classifications, fringe benefits, and apprentice requirements.
  • Collect, audit, and maintain subcontractor certified payroll records and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and follow up on missing or incomplete payroll submissions.
  • Respond to DIR requests, audits, and labor compliance inquiries.
  • Maintain labor compliance files and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Human Resources, Project Managers, and subcontractors to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Stay current on prevailing wage laws, labor regulations, and compliance updates.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of labor compliance and certified payroll experience.
  • Hands-on experience with LCPtracker is required.
  • Strong knowledge of California DIR prevailing wage regulations.
  • Experience reviewing certified payroll reports and subcontractor compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Construction or public works industry experience is highly preferred.
Pay Details: $27.00 to $33.50 per hour
