Full-Time Day Kitchen Prep Team Member
The Opportunity

Looking for a full-time position with daytime hours?

Our Day Kitchen Prep Team Members play an important role in setting the restaurant up for success each day. This position is focused primarily on food preparation, production, organization, and kitchen readiness during the daytime hours.

You will help ensure that our kitchen has the right products prepared, stocked, and ready to serve our guests while maintaining Chick-fil-A's high standards for food safety, quality, cleanliness, and hospitality. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying busy, working with a team, and taking pride in doing things the right way.


Day Kitchen Prep Responsibilities

As a Day Kitchen Prep Team Member, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing produce, salads, and other menu components
  • Preparing chicken and other products for service
  • Producing and stocking food throughout the day based on business needs
  • Preparing catering and large-volume orders
  • Monitoring product levels and communicating when additional preparation is needed
  • Following food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and properly stocked prep area
  • Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • Working ahead of demand to ensure the kitchen is prepared for upcoming business
  • Completing opening and daytime kitchen tasks with accuracy and urgency
  • Cleaning and resetting prep areas throughout the shift
  • Helping the BOH team maintain a smooth and efficient operation

While this position is primarily focused on prep and daytime production, flexibility is important. Team Members may be asked to assist in other areas of the kitchen when business needs require it.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. overhead
