Job description

Summary:

The Front Office Host is responsible for assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all Front Office-related functions and to maintain high standards of service and hospitality.
Responsibilities Include:
• Welcome and register guests, providing exceptional service throughout their stay.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel's property management system.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism and care.
• Manage cash, credit, and room charge transactions accurately.
• Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell Desk, etc.) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Answer and route phone calls and messages in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain a working knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
• Uphold Hyatt's high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest engagement at the Front Desk.
Qualifications:
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; prior experience with Opera or similar systems is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Candidate must be 21 years or older
