Job description

The general maintenance engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all engineering systems within the hospitality industry. This role involves collaborating with various teams, such as housekeeping, front desk, and management, to deliver exceptional service. The engineer must interact with guests, hotel staff, vendors, and management, providing technical expertise and support. Success in this role is measured by the uptime of critical systems, energy efficiency improvements, and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Our schedule can range from working Sunday -Thursday or Tuesday -Saturday.

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance in/on:

  • Guest rooms
  • Meeting space
  • Front of house areas
  • Back of house areas (kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems)
  • Major equipment & systems using a Windows based computer system
