Friendship is looking for a Full -Time Housekeeping Manager to join our Friendship Health and Rehab South team, located in Roanoke, VA. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping staff for the building and ensuring facility cleaning schedules are maintained.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Establish daily assignments for staff
  • Collect and dispense closet keys at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Keep the biohazard storage room clean and neat
  • Ensure biohazard boxes are closed securely and assist the waste removal company with disposal; retain records of disposal
  • Serve as point of contact for housekeeping staff administrative functions (scheduling, disciplinary action, performance)
  • Ensure resident rooms are cleaned and maintained appropriately by staff

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a housekeeping management role
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects weighing over 50 pounds
