Our expert culinary team is looking for energetic individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a desire to serve others. If you are detail oriented and customer service focused, we would love to hear from you! As a line cook, you will provide full scope, hands on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department, learning from our world-class chefs! Jump start your career and gain life long skills and experience.

DUTIES:

  • Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
  • Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
  • Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required criteria, as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per policy and procedure.
  • Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic
  • Ability to understand measurements and conversions
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
  • Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience
