FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Plays a critical role in analyzing healthcare data to evaluate economic outcomes and support informed decision-making. Develops economic models to assess the cost-effectiveness of healthcare interventions and collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate health economics insights into product strategies. Prepares comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and supports market access initiatives. Requires monitoring healthcare market trends, advising on pricing strategies, and facilitating training to enhance team expertise in health economics.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze healthcare and financial data to evaluate economic outcomes and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain economic and financial models to assess the cost-effectiveness of healthcare services, programs, and interventions.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, finance, and business teams to integrate health economics insights into organizational strategies.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders.
• Support market access, reimbursement, and pricing initiatives through economic analysis and forecasting.
• Monitor healthcare industry trends, reimbursement changes, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
• Conduct cost-benefit, return-on-investment (ROI), and financial impact analyses.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance measurement.
• Provide education and guidance to stakeholders on health economics concepts and methodologies.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in health economics, Economics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
• Master's degree in health economics, Public Health (MPH), Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Economics, Biostatistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in health economics, healthcare analytics, reimbursement analysis, market access, or a related field.
• Experience developing economic, financial, forecasting, or cost-effectiveness models.
• Expertise in healthcare market analysis, reimbursement methodologies, and pricing strategies.
• Proven ability to analyze complex healthcare data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience preparing comprehensive reports, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Experience supporting market access, reimbursement, product strategy, or healthcare business initiatives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience training, mentoring, or educating team members and stakeholders on health economics concepts and methodologies.
