Job Description

Material Handler - Loader

Vancouver, WA

This position is available at our new Fruit Valley Warehouse location.

Compensation Includes

  • Starting pay rate $21.25 - $25.15/hour 

Available Shift

  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00am - 3:00pm

Overview & Responsibilities

Our Material Handlers are versatile and perform functions like Forklift Driver, Stock Pull, Grab Driver, Loader, etc. There are two positions available, which will be particularly focused on Loader duties. The successful candidates will have at least one year of experience loading trailers according to proper weight and configuration; be comfortable operating dock equipment (dock leveler, Dock-Lok, glad hand locks, etc.), and reading, understanding, and completing regulated documentation.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of Logistics experience, warehouse operations, and forklift driving
  • 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts with grab attachment and transferring product between a warehouse and manufacturing environment
  • Highly effective written and communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve situations quickly and efficiently.
  • Proficient computer skills: MS Office, Word, and Excel is required
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with periods of walking, sitting, and/or lifting, a maximum of 50 pounds, infrequently, as needed
