Your role at Clorox:

Position will act as the Anaplan COE Lead & Strategic Architect (Contractor), owning the end-to-end vision, governance, and evolution of the Anaplan Technical ecosystem. This role partners with executive stakeholders and external consultants to drive scalable, enterprise-wide planning solutions, accelerate time-to-value, and ensure best-in-class model architecture and adoption.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the Anaplan Tech platform strategy and roadmap, aligning business priorities with scalable, long-term architecture decisions
  • Act as enterprise solution architect, defining standards and leading consultants in the design and delivery of complex, cross-functional models
  • Lead and mature the Anaplan Center of Excellence (COE), establishing governance frameworks, best practices (PLANS), and operating model across business units
  • Drive end-to-end delivery accountability (design build deploy adoption), ensuring quality, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Serve as the primary advisor to Product Owner and Senior leadership, translating business strategy into Anaplan capabilities and influencing decision-making
  • Oversee platform health, including model performance, integrations, security, and scalability, proactively identifying risks and optimization opportunities
  • Lead enterprise adoption and change management, including stakeholder alignment, executive reporting, and user enablement strategies
  • Define and enforce data governance and access controls, ensuring compliance and integrity across models and integrations
  • Partner with EDT and data teams to architect and optimize integrations with ERP and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Provide thought leadership and mentorship to internal teams and consultants, raising overall Anaplan capability maturity
  • Deliver rapid, high-impact solutions in a contractor capacity, balancing strategic initiatives with urgent business needs

What we look for:

  • Anaplan Solution Architect certification (required)
  • 10+ years of FP&A / Finance Systems experience, with strong exposure to enterprise planning transformations
  • Proven experience leading Anaplan COE or large-scale implementations across multiple functions
  • Deep expertise in Anaplan architecture, model design, and performance optimization (PLANS methodology)
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management at Director/VP level, with ability to influence without direct authority
  • Demonstrated ability to define tech strategy, not just execute, including roadmap planning and operating model design
  • Experience managing external consultants and cross-functional teams in a delivery model
  • Strong understanding of enterprise system architecture and integrations (e.g., SAP, Workday, or similar ERPs)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to connect business drivers to technical solutions
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, delivering outcomes with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication skills, including executive-level storytelling and decision support
  • Experience driving user adoption, change management, and training at scale
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus
