Facility: Cypress Garden Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation
Position: RN Unit Manager
Location: Queens, NY
Shift: Full-Time 7am-3pm
Salary: $115,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience

Are you a compassionate and experienced RN with strong leadership skills? Join the team at Cypress Garden Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and help us provide exceptional care to our residents. As an RN Unit Manager, you’ll support and supervise our nursing staff while collaborating with the DON and ADON to ensure excellence in resident care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the DON and ADON in managing day-to-day nursing operations

  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring accountability and adherence to care standards

  • Respond to and escalate staff concerns or grievances appropriately

  • Monitor staffing levels and optimize scheduling to reduce overtime and agency reliance

  • Conduct evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed

  • Promote teamwork and a positive work culture across the unit

  • Participate in quality assurance, budget planning, and internal committees

  • Oversee MDS completion and contribute to discharge planning alongside families and care teams

  • Ensure residents and families experience compassionate, individualized care

Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills

  • Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking abilities
