Healing Garden Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. As a remote position, our Licensed Mental Health Counselor will utilize virtual platforms to connect with clients, ensuring that quality care is delivered regardless of physical location. • Conduct initial assessments to determine clients' mental health status, utilizing standardized diagnostic criteria.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs and circumstances, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Provide ongoing counseling sessions, both individually and in group settings, empowering clients to develop coping skills and tools for recovery.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and follow-up sessions in the EHR system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to enhance client care and referral services, when necessary.
• Stay abreast of advancements in mental health treatment and participate in continuing education to enhance clinical skills.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and substance use disorders. You will engage with clients from various cultural backgrounds, allowing you to apply and further develop your cultural competence and sensitivity in therapeutic settings. Your role will be crucial in building trust and helping clients navigate their healing journeys.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.
• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with a variety of mental health disorders.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and culturally responsive practices in therapy.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology in providing care.

• Experience in providing telehealth services and familiarity with online therapy platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct both individual and group therapy, emphasizing inclusive practices.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary approaches, allowing for holistic client care.

Healing Garden Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
