Seasonal Garden Center Sales Associate

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-oriented people to work on a seasonal basis from February through May to assist customers with garden related questions and recommendations. In addition, we welcome and value bilingual candidates and strongly encouraged these candidates apply. As a company, we are dedicated to delivering an amazing shopping experience to every customer, every time! Advise customers on plant selection, garden layout, planting, plant care, and pruning. Full and part-time positions are available.

The associate's duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily watering of all plants.
  • Unloading trucks.
  • Daily inspection and preparation of merchandise.
  • Ensuring all plants and items in garden center are priced.
  • Advise customers on plant selection, garden layout, planting, plant care, and pruning.
  • Assist customers with garden related questions and recommendation.
  • Assist in general nursery maintenance, including watering and pruning plant material.
  • Restock garden center merchandise.
  • Learn and implement daily and seasonal opening and closing procedures.
  • Operate a cash register.
