Job description

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing front desk activities and supervising personnel. Ensures outstanding guest experiences and optimizes hotel revenue.
Duties:
  • Understand guest and employee needs and handle all situations calmly and professionally.
  • Partner with other departments to meet guest expectations and special requests (reservations, bell desk, housekeeping, information desk, concierge).
  • Supervise, evaluate, coach, counsel and provide situational retraining of Front Desk staff.
  • Evaluate same day selling strategies.
  • Maintain and manage daily inventory.
  • Execute all shift reports.
  • Maximize revenue by promoting suite upgrades and maintaining rate integrity.
  • Maintain a ticket bank and keep proper inventory of all tickets and logs.
  • Assist with the check-in line as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of one-year Front Desk experience, preferably in a resort setting.
  • Two or more years of customer service required.
  • Able to effectively communicate with entire staff.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
