SealPros Asphalt Paving & Maintenance is hiring! We are looking for a Blade Operator to support our Grading team. All team members are eligible for a performance incentive bonus in addition to their base rate of pay. Benefits are completely free, and you still have coverage in the off season. Job Responsibilities

  • Operate a Blade and other heavy equipment to meet project standards and prepare surfaces for paving or construction.
  • Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and elevations to achieve required slopes and contours.
  • Assist in site preparation tasks such as hauling, backfilling, compacting, manhole preparation, cleaning, and others as needed.
  • Assist with commercial vehicle operation as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily jobsite and equipment cleaning.
  • Maintain accurate timecards and other paperwork as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience operating a blade, various loaders, various rollers, a dozer, and other heavy equipment is required.
  • Must be able to read and understand construction and grading plans.
  • Must be dependable and hard working with a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license is required. Class A or B CDL is preferred.
  • Must have consistent and reliable transportation to and from work.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work long or irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime as required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb in and out of equipment safely and maintain balance on uneven surfaces.
