Job Overview

We are seeking an on-site, full-time Electrical Engineer or Electrical Engineering Technician to work out of our modern Mesquite facility just outside Dallas, TX. This role reports to the Director, Operations, and serves as the primary technical bridge between our remote Engineering teams, Dallas manufacturing operations, and internal Procurement groups. This is primarily a desk- and process-driven engineering support role focused on drawing management, change implementation, and technical problem-solving, with occasional hands-on floor troubleshooting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical liaison between remote Engineering and Dallas Operations
  • Troubleshoot harness and electrical issues on vehicles and equipment, transitioning findings into formal documentation and process changes
  • Create and submit Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and update harness prints and schematics using Creo and Windchill
  • Act as the internal technical resource for Procurement, answering supplier-related harness drawing questions and clarifying technical specifications
  • Design simple wire harnesses and update low-voltage or high-voltage harness routing documentation as required
  • Assist with electrical troubleshooting and integration during vehicle commissioning
  • Update and maintain clear work instructions for building, routing, and reworking harnesses in production
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure proper tooling and processes are supported

Education and Experience

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing, automotive, or engineering support environments
  • Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, degree, or equivalent practical experience
  • Working familiarity with CAD and PLM software packages, specifically Creo, Windchill, or Creo Schematics (preferred)

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong logical reasoning and analytical problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Excellent technical documentation and configuration management skills
  • Collaborative communicator capable of bridging engineering intent with production realities
  • Basic awareness of high-voltage vehicle architectures (preferred)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Compensation

$60 – 65,000 base salary. Total compensation includes paid time off and company-paid benefits package.
