Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently, utilizing multi-line phone systems and electronic scheduling tools
Manage patient records by updating and reviewing medical documentation in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems including eClinicalWorks or similar platforms
Assist with insurance verification, collection of copayments, and processing of payments in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Maintain organized filing of dental records, medical histories, and care plans while ensuring confidentiality and security of health information
Provide exemplary customer service by addressing patient questions promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and clerical skills
