Job description

Identity and Access Management Specialist, Senior

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to develop and deploy IAM solutions that align with organization security requirements and guidelines. This role is focused on securing the identity lifecycle through access governance, provisioning, authentication, authorization reviews, and operational monitoring.


The specialist will work with IAM tools and platforms such as CyberArk, Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager, and Ping Identity. Responsibilities may include defining standard IAM processes, configuring and implementing IAM systems and applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting secure identity operations across client environments.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security
  • 2+ years of experience in IAM
  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms such as CyberArk, Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager, and Ping Identity
  • Experience with directory synchronization, federated identity management, and identity federation
  • Knowledge of attribute-based access control, credential management, digital identity, and identity governance
  • Knowledge of information security management, enterprise information security architecture, information assurance, and information security auditing
  • Ability to work in a hybrid delivery environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AsciiDoc, digital signatures, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Experience with IAM operations, IAM guidelines, and information security management
  • Experience with configuration and implementation of IAM systems and applications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Knowledge of privileged access management operations, including CyberArk Privileged Access Management
  • Possession of strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • IAM or similar Certification such as CISSP or CISM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
