Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Time Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, particularly with experience using Epic software and working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). This role is essential in ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit medical billing claims using Epic software.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to medical billing.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to verify patient information and billing details.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of billing activities and patient accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and reporting.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in medical billing, specifically with Epic software.
- Knowledge of billing procedures for Federally Qualified Health Centers.
