Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

This is a full-time, exempt, salary position.

Location Circles corporate office 4606 N 132nd St, Butler, WI 53007

Job Summary:

Our Project Managers are absolutely integral to our work at Circle Electric. These masters of construction keep our projects running smoothly, on-time, and within budget. They constantly communicate with our Electricians on site, coordinate with vendors, and keep our customers updated every step along the way. We are fortunate to have a rock star team of PMs already and are looking to add that next right person as our company continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with customers, team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, resolve issues, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Estimation and Initiation: Collaborate with customers and our Estimating team to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenditures, track project costs, and make adjustments as needed to maintain financial targets.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Monitor potential project risk factors and take proactive measures to mitigate such factors to ensure project success.
  • Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards, ensuring that all work adheres to industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Timeline Adherence: Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Communicate project status and potential delays to stakeholders in a transparent and timely manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records. Ensure all documentation is organized and accessible to necessary team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with local, state, and national codes, regulations, and standards related to our industry. Ensure that all projects are in compliance with these requirements.
  • Business Development: Capitalize on opportunities to expand project scopes through positive interactions with current customers
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and quality driven capable of working independently, with team members, and with customers while displaying a high level of professionalism
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction projects, budgets, timelines, and customer communication, both verbal and written
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical project management
  • 20+ years industry experience in the electrical trade
  • Valid WI Journeyman or Master Electricians license required
  • Experience running electrical construction projects up to $3 million
  • M365 proficiency required
  • Experience with Accubid, Computerease, Bidtracer all a plus
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination for accurate data entry and reading of project plans and specifications
  • Good hearing and ability to talk for effective communication with customers, contractors, and team members
  • Ability to safely drive to jobsites
  • Able to traverse jobsites safely during walkthroughs and site visits: walk, stand, climb ladders, stoop, bend, kneel, reach overhead
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of materials, such as project documents, plans, and jobsite equipment.
