General Summary
Responsible for college wide end-user Information Technology Systems, resources and services. Responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of Client Systems hardware, software, services, peripherals and related infrastructure technologies. Responsible for imaging, troubleshooting, replacing and aligning client needs to the computer equipment, audio and video equipment. Responsible for business and instruction software, Operating Systems modification, creation, maintenance, installation and support and creation of virtual desktops and pools. Responsible for Live Video Classrooms, Live Video Classrooms software and equipment. Responsible for inventory tracking, computer and media equipment wiring and creating and maintaining hardware/software/security/configuration standards. Responsible for providing level 2 and 3 technical services and support for the college IT and audio video needs. The Information Technology Systems Administrator also follows current ITSM/ITIL framework and processes. Individual will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures.

1. Responsible for and administers installing, updating, patching, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing end-user technologies at the Learning Centers/Off-site locations (Kearney, Lexington, Holdrege, Ord, E-Ships and Hubs) for college software and equipment. This includes repairing, configuring, troubleshooting physical and virtual computing devices, projectors, microphones, televisions, digital signage, photo identification software and equipment, telepresence equipment, monitors, media input switching technology, instructional teaching and testing software and equipment and computer/media cabling.

2. Responsible for creating and maintaining proper documentation within an electronic inventory solution of CCC end-user technology systems and assigned/unassigned IT equipment for the College Wide Service Area.

3. Responsible for and manages College-wide work orders assigned to the Information Technology Systems Team.

4. Responsible for, operates, maintains and repairs cable television distribution system, local satellite receiving systems and College-wide video teleconferencing systems.

5. Collaborates and works with Service Center employees and work studies assigned to the ITS department. This may include training on IT software and equipment, answering IT support questions, completing IT work orders or training support personnel on functions 1 through 4.

6. Responsible for and administers the testing, setup and operation of recording technology equipment required for special events and requests.

7. Responsible for the administration of Operating System Deployment (OSD), Hardware Independent Imaging (HII), OS Provisioning Sequences and Software Distribution Package tasks, including creating basic or specialized images, capturing images, prepping images for deployment, providing device specific driver packages, creating image specific provisioning and software distribution packages for deployment to all CCC owned computing devices.

Responsible for and manages operation of the Video and Collaboration Services, including core video infrastructure, telepresence, gatekeepers, gateway/firewall, multiple control units and video endpoints. Installs, configures, operates, upgrades, and maintains inventory and product life cycle management and documentation for the college-wide service.
