Job description

To assist with the CargoWise implementation by providing insight into the current process flow, developing the future state of the division business model and all other business requirements for a full implementation. This includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: process design, reporting and training/education.

Serve on the CargoWise brokerage business implementation project team and assist in the development of process and workflows, reporting, training, etc.

Review and cleanse extracted data for proper import into CargoWise

Provide input and assist with system configurations for users, customer rate schedules, etc.

Assist with outlining internal reporting needs as well as documents required

Responsible for identifying and reporting defects or enhancements required prior to implementation

Looks for gains in efficiency while developing the future state process flow

Participate in the implementation process including change management and end user training

Other assigned tasks required for full implementation

Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma/equivalent

Three (3) year of experience in the field/industry

One (1) year of experience in brokerage operations

Knowledge of customs and other federal agency laws, regulations and procedures governing the customs brokerage industry

Strong organizational, human relations and communication skills

Customs broker's license or CCS is preferred

Knowledge of FedEx customer specifications and able to process in a time sensitive environment

Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills, excellent initiative, and attention to detail

Demonstrated verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks

Proven time management skills by meeting deadlines

Some travel required.
