Cape Cod Orthopedics, P.C. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation center located in Carteret, New Jersey. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional outpatient care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries. The starting salary for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized treatment plans to patients, focusing on their unique rehabilitation goals and needs.
  • Manage a reasonable caseload to ensure that each patient receives thorough one-on-one attention.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and tailor interventions accordingly.

  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment protocols, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using EMR systems, particularly WebPT.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. The patient population is diverse, encompassing various ages and physical conditions, which will require you to adapt your treatment strategies to meet their wide-ranging needs effectively. Your role is essential in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, fostering a supportive environment that encourages their commitment to rehabilitation.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
  • No history of sanctions or board proceedings reflected on your professional license.
  • Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
  • Ability to utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient management.
  • Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
