Cardiology Veterinary Technician

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) is expanding our Cardiology Department fall of 2026, and we're looking for a Cardiology Technician to grow with us. Starting now, there's also the option to work in other departments until the cardiology expansion is underway, so you can get to know our hospital, our teams, and our culture right away.

About the Role
You'll work alongside our cardiology specialists to provide outstanding patient care and diagnostic support, including:
  • Advanced nursing care for hospitalized and outpatient patients
  • Maintain patient records, including visits and discharges
  • Clear, compassionate client education and communication through multiple modes
  • Assisting with cardiology diagnostics (echocardiograms, ECG monitoring, etc.)
  • Long-term care support for chronic cardiac patients
  • Processing lab samples and maintaining accurate medical records

Qualifications
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (or eligible and willing to obtain within 6 months)
  • At least one year experience in veterinary medicine
  • Specialty experience is a plus
  • A team-first, kind communicator who enjoys collaborating across departments
  • A commitment to gold-standard medicine and continuous learning

Schedule and Compensation
  • The schedule is from Monday through Friday, with a shared holiday rotation.
  • Pay range is $22-$32/hr, based on experience, expertise, and equity. Most new hires can expect an offer between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
  • Up to $2500 sign-on bonus
