Veterinary Urgent Care Technician
Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists

Do you love the pace of urgent care, the variety of same-day cases, and the rhythm of swing shifts? Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is looking for an Urgent Care Veterinary Technician to join our emergency and specialty team during an exciting period of growth.

CCVS is physically expanding to better meet the needs of Cape Cod, the Islands, and the surrounding communities. For technicians who enjoy urgent care, this means more opportunity to develop clinical skills, collaborate with a broad medical team, and be part of a hospital that is actively investing in its future.

This role is ideal for a veterinary technician who enjoys hands-on patient care, client communication, and helping patients who need timely treatment but may not require full critical care support. You will work closely with our veterinarians and emergency team to help assess, treat, and support non-critical urgent cases presenting through our ER service.

  • Client education and discharge support
You will be part of a talented, cohesive, and compassionate team focused on exceptional patient care, strong client service, and supportive collaboration across departments.

Who This Role Is Great For

  • Enjoys urgent care cases and the variety they bring
  • Likes swing shifts and working during the busier parts of the hospital day
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment

  • Enjoys client education and helping families understand next steps
  • Appreciates a role that blends general practice knowledge with emergency medicine exposure
  • Wants to continue growing through structured training, mentorship, and continuing education
  • Is excited to join a hospital that is expanding its space, services, and opportunities for advanced veterinary care

At CCVS, we believe in investing in our nursing team. We offer an extensive in-house training program with incentives as you progress through nursing levels. We fully support team members who wish to obtain their CVT, RVT, LVT, or VTS and offer a generous education allowance based on experience.
