Who We Are:

Praxis Resources is an established provider with over 28 years of experience in custom manufacturing, prototyping, and repair services, specializing in the development and production of innovative technological solutions. From concept to completion, we are committed to delivering high-quality, tailored products that meet the unique design and functionality needs of our clients.

Who Weโ€™re Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at our Gilbert, AZ facility. This role is best suited for candidates with a proven background in electromechanical assembly and cable manufacturing who can independently take projects from schematic through full build completion.

This is not an entry-level positionโ€”we are looking for technicians who can contribute immediately with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently assemble components using schematics, technical drawings, and build documentation
  • Build and terminate cables, wire harnesses, breakout boxes, and electromechanical assemblies to industry standards
  • Perform precision soldering, wire stripping/tinning, and crimping with consistent quality
  • Tie, route, and sleeve wire harnesses using established professional methods
  • Execute potting and molding processes (prior hands-on experience strongly preferred)
  • Conduct thorough self-inspections to ensure builds meet quality and compliance standards
  • Accurately document work and maintain detailed production records
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues with minimal oversight

Required Qualifications (Experience Matters):

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in cable assembly, electronics manufacturing, or electromechanical builds
  • Strong working knowledge of IPC-620 and/or J-STD standards
  • Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Demonstrated expertise in soldering, crimping, and harness assembly techniques
  • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment with quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with complex harnessing, chassis wiring, or custom builds
  • Prior experience with potting, molding, or similar processes
  • IPC certification(s)

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to hear well in a production environment for safety and communication
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Full-time, on-site role in Gilbert, AZ
  • Willingness to work second shift (3:00 PM โ€“ 11:30 PM, Monday โ€“ Friday) as needed - eligible for shift differential
  • Strong attendance and reliability are essential
