Employment Associate Attorney (Midlevel)
Cable Huston is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in employment litigation and management-side advice work. This position includes a mix of general civil litigation, employment cases, and counseling employers on workplace matters.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in both state and federal courts, including responsibility for drafting pleadings, motions, e-discovery, depositions, and oral arguments
  • Experience drafting, updating, and revising employer policies and handbooks
  • Experience responding to state and federal administrative charges on behalf of employers
  • Experience providing employment law advice to Human Resource professionals on compliance with workplace rules and regulations
  • Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Prior experience at a mid- to large-sized law firm preferred
  • Oregon Bar admission required; Washington admission is a plus
