About the Opportunity:

Our client is seeking a dynamic Marketing / Business Development Person to join their team and drive innovation within the U.S. live events industry. This exciting role involves promoting nationwide labor support services and building meaningful relationships with Live Event production companies, AV providers, venues, and meeting planners. If you are a proactive and CRM-savvy professional, excited about managing long sales cycles and thriving in a relationship-based environment, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads using company databases and prospecting tools.

  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, social media, and LinkedIn.

  • Manage and track all activities in Salesforce or other approved CRM systems.

  • Execute a structured follow-up strategy at 3-, 6-, and 12-month intervals.

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities for multi-city or national engagements.

  • Coordinate the handoff of secured business to Operations and Workforce teams.

  • Support monthly email campaigns and LinkedIn/Facebook updates.

  • Assist with database maintenance, segmentation, and data accuracy.

  • Participate in weekly Sales and Labor meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development or sales within live events, AV, or production industries.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills.

  • Confidence in outbound prospecting and managing long sales cycles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.

  • Familiarity with lead-generation and email marketing tools (preferred).

  • Understanding of sales pipelines, KPIs, and reporting metrics.
