Position OverviewÂ
The Accounting Manager will oversee client accounting operations, including the development and maintenance of accounting systems, procedures, and policies. This role involves financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and presenting strategic recommendations to client leadership. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player and will report directly to the President.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- ·       Manage day-to-day accounting functions for multiple clientsÂ
- ·       Develop and maintain accounting systems, procedures, and policiesÂ
- ·       Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecastsÂ
- ·       Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and filingsÂ
- ·       Present financial insights and recommendations to client managementÂ
- ·       Collaborate with CEOs and accounting staff across various companiesÂ
- ·       Represent LUDWIG's culture of excellence in all client interactionsÂ
QualificationsÂ
- ·       Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeÂ
- ·       Minimum 5 years of progressive experience (e.g., Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller)Â
- ·       CPA certification preferredÂ
- ·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)Â
- ·       Experience with multiple accounting software platforms or willingness to learnÂ
- ·       Exceptional attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- ·       Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitudeÂ
- ·       Ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesÂ
- ·       Willingness to travel to client offices in the Philadelphia regionÂ
