Job description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Mechanic - Pump Repair to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining the reliability of our pumping equipment, ensuring it is serviced, repaired, and operating efficiently for our customers. You will gain experience in mechanical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and repair processes in both shop and outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine servicing, inspection, and repair of fleet pumping equipment
  • Diagnose issues and identify required repairs or parts
  • Accurately document service and repair activities on work orders
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on shop tools and equipment
  • Assist with equipment preparation and staging for customer use
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours repairs and support
  • Communicate clearly with team members and management regarding status and needs
  • Maintain safe, organized, and efficient working conditions'

Qualifications:
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; experience with diesel engines or pumps is a plus
  • Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or general mechanics preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift; certification preferred but not required
  • Comfortable with documentation and paperwork
  • Able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds, with regular standing, bending, and stooping
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a supportive team environment
  • Effective communication skills, including use of radios or mobile devices

SALARY:
The estimated salary range for this position is $20.00/Hr. to $24.00/Hr. Starting pay depends on skills, experience, and work location, and may not typically be at the top of the range.
