Our driver delivers various petroleum products to residential and/or commercial customers. Duties will include, but are not limited to, local driving in the local area using a straight truck, delivering petroleum products, and completing required daily paperwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a straight truck to delivery locations while obeying all local traffic laws.
  • Deliver product, monitor the transfer of product from the delivery truck to the customer's vessel.
  • Operate the truck's onยญboard delivery computer and meter systems.
  • Maintain required paperwork including manifests, emergency response guides and Driver Vehicle Inspections Reports (DVI R's).
  • Perform other tasks & duties as assigned or required.

Education, Skills, and Abilities:

ยท High School Diploma or GED recommended, but not required.

ยท Must be 21 years of age (DOT required).

ยท Current/valid Maryland State Class B Commercial Driver's License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and TWIC Card.

ยท Current/valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate; must be able to pass the FMCSA query.

ยท 3+ Yearsโ€™ experience driving tanker vehicles preferred.

ยท Ability to train and learn the petroleum industry.

ยท Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and the ability to stabilize a minimum of 100 lbs.

ยท Ability to work with little supervision.

ยท Ability to effectively communicate verbally with others, including employees and customers.

ยท Must meet company insurability requirements.
