To thrive as a Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) Specialist, you need a solid understanding of food safety regulations, quality assurance principles, and typically a degree in food science or a related field. Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, food safety management systems like ISO 22000, and sometimes certifications such as SQF or PCQI are commonly required.
