Job description

Save More Marketplace is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front End Supervisor to lead our front end team and ensure exceptional customer service. Since 1959, we have committed ourselves to quality and community, and your leadership will help uphold these values. In this role, you will oversee daily front end operations, supervise cashiers and baggers, and manage customer interactions to create a positive shopping experience. Your ability to motivate the team and maintain efficient workflows will be key to the success of our store.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support front end staff including cashiers and baggers to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Train new employees in front end procedures and customer service standards.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage employee schedules to ensure proper coverage during all shifts.
  • Monitor cash handling and register accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with management to implement store policies and improve front end processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front end environment.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience in retail, preferably in a front end or cashier role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
