Peregrine Team is hiring a Front Office Assistant in Irvine, CA. This position is a full-time, contract position with full benefits and competitive pay.
About the Role
Irvine, California, United States (On-site)
Onsite | Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
We are seeking a Front Office Assistant to support a busy specialty medical practice in Irvine, CA. This role is fully focused on front office and patient administrative support, ensuring smooth daily clinic operations and an excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and provider calendars
  • Perform patient check-in and front desk reception duties
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage prior to visits
  • Coordinate scheduling across providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Room patients (non-clinical support only; no vitals or clinical intake responsibilities)
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system and patient scheduling platform
  • Support general administrative duties as needed to keep front office operations running smoothly

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of front office or medical office experience preferred
  • Experience in a specialty practice or fast-paced clinic environment strongly preferred
  • NextGen experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable multitasking in a high-volume patient setting
