What are front load drivers?

Front load drivers are professionals who operate front-loading garbage trucks to collect and transport commercial and industrial waste. They are responsible for driving the truck along designated routes, lifting and emptying large front-load dumpsters into the truck’s hopper, and ensuring waste is safely and efficiently transported to disposal or recycling facilities. The job requires a commercial driver’s license (CDL), attention to safety protocols, and the ability to interact courteously with customers and team members. Front load drivers play a key role in keeping communities clean and supporting environmental sustainability.

To thrive as a Front Load Driver, you need a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), safe driving record, and experience operating heavy vehicles.
